A quick dessert I threw together with some leftover cupcakes.

Quick?! I'd spend at least an hour in the kitchen to finally, at the end of my nerves, present something not half as showy. These look fantastic, and I'm sure they were delicious!

Naw, the photograph flatters them. The cupcakes were totally wonky and were close to falling apart. These two were the only two that came out of the tins almost in one piece. We didn't eat them like this, either -- we dumped the rest of the punnet of strawberries on the plate and heaped them with more custard haha.
