[ETA] Wow you guys. I didn't expect these to get anywhere near this much attention. Thanks so much for all the views and faves and comments. They all mean the world to me. Each and every single one. I will endeavour to reply personally to as many of your questions as I can when the time permits. But in the meantime, most of your questions can be answered by checking out the blog post - I explained over there how I made these.

As for those criticising these for not being original or not being creative - I'm not claiming that I am the first or only one to ever make cookie monster cupcakes. This is not even the first time I have made or posted these. While my method of making them is my own, if you read the blog one of the first thing I said was that "There are a thousand versions of this guy in cupcake form" and allude a few times to various other ways I've seen them made. I'm all for critiques and constructive criticism, but if you're just here to say these are unoriginal, then save your energy. I'm well aware.

Amazing. And regardless if you made them first or not or whatever to other people, they fact that you can do that and it looks great and others cant gives you more talent than others.
