This is a commission for a small[ish] wedding cake. The couple requested a strawberry cake with embossed fondant and a heart made from red roses. I cut the cake into four layers, layered and crumb coated them with chocolate buttercream before covering with fondant.
This is the first large cake I've covered with embossed fondant. It's quite difficult to cover a cake with embossed fondant and not ruin the pattern, so I was quite nervous about the request. It worked out fine it the end. PHEW.
