Cook Book Challenge: Week 29by ^cakecrumbs

Artisan Crafts / Culinary Arts / Main Dishes

These dishes were made for week 29 of my cook book challenge. These came from Kylie Kwong's "Simple Chinese Cooking".

The dish on the left is Chilli-salt Duck Breasts with Lemon and on the right is a side dish called Hot and Sour Cucumber.

This was my first time both eating and cooking duck. I can't recommend either dish highly enough. They were so delicious.

that duck looks good

only have duck once from a Chinese place, none of us liked it. My partner having Peking duck with his Chinese last night, he didn't like that either but i think he would try that if you put it in front of him.

Looks great.

Used to go to a place that had a crispy duck salad. I thought it was their best dish.

My duck friends not so much.
