The book for this weeks challenge was "Cadbury Chocolate Cookbook". It didn't have much to offer in the way of a challenge, until I saw the roulade. I've made a pavlova roulade before, but never any cake version of it. I've always been intimidated by scroll cakes. They seem so delicate, so easy to tear, and few come out looking like a perfect scroll. I couldn't chicken out though. That's not in the spirit of the challenge!
This one is a French Chocolate Roulade. It's a light chocolate sponge, coated with a layer of chocolate and filled with cream. I decorated the exterior with icing sugar.
