Who said macaron towers were hard?

Mostly people on MasterChef who wanted to make a big deal out of something that's actually simple.

This was made as an extension of my Day 2 of 12 days of Christmas thinger. My favourite celebration of the year requires overboard desserts, so I couldn't resist going the full tower.

Huh. I've never actually tried macarons. What do they taste like? (This tower is so epic by the way)

It depends on the flavour, really. Much like asking what a cookie tastes like. But texturally, they're soft and chewy in the middle, but the outside is thin and crisp.

A lot lighter in texture than that. The outer crust is like a mm thick.
